If your business is located near a certain city or state, you will see the city name, business name, and even other information about that location. For example, if your business is located in San Francisco, you will see a Google search for “San Francisco hotels”San Francisco airport”. If you have an e-commerce site, you might also see the following type of listing: “Ebay”, “PayPal”, “Google Checkout”, “Gift certificates”, “Gifts,” “EZ Money,” “Mobile Payments,” etc. If you’ve ever seen a Google Map, you will notice the same type of list of listings.
Google’s New Featured Snippet Types: Places You’ve never heard of before Just as with Google Maps, the New Featured Snippet Types offers new listings based on certain criteria.
